PARAMETRIC MODELING

↑ This project is the modeling of a sun clock that when placed under the sun, will show time as the sun moves along different angles of the day. With the help of ghPython Script, I managed to create negative spaces based on the location of the sun. And I was also able to customize the time frame and increments that I want to use for the clock to work. After negative space is determined, I've designed the positive form to accommodate the holes for the light to shine through. The final model was then converted to stl file and ready to be 3D printed.

Below is a collection of some other projects I've done that were totally generated by Grasshopper coding to experiment the nature of parametric modeling features and advantages.
